The 2019 edition of the prestigious Baking Industry Awards was held on the night of 4th September at the glitzy Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. The theme for the night was 'intergalactic' and saw hundreds of esteemed guests, including many leading baking industry figures, in attendance for the dazzling awards ceremony.
The Bakers had an evening to remember with no less than three award winners having Bakers' Livery Connections!
Past Master Paul Heygate won the main award, “Outstanding Contribution to the Baking Industry”. Liveryman Garry Reeves won the “National Craft Baker” award and Megan Roberts, University College Birmingham student and WCB bursary award winner, won the “Rising Star” award.
