On joining the Company, all members of the Livery and Freedom automatically become part of the Livery Society, our de facto social committee. The Society arranges a variety of informal social events, visits and talks, both within the City of London and further afield. Run by members for members, the Society is designed to create opportunities for fellowship outside the Company's more formal regular events.
Last night's AGM included a fascinating talk from historian Peter Power on some of the personalities of the Special Operations Executive, followed by an informal supper.
