The National Bakery Awards took place this week, celebrating the very best bakers and bakeries in the UK.
On his very first day in office, our brand new Master William Marle presented the WCB Young Baker of the Year award to Alice Dent.
We were also thrilled to see Daniel Cartwright and Elisha Francis from the Henllan Bakery receive prizes, both of who have previously attended our Bursary courses. Daniel was the ABIM Young Baker of the year, and Elisha Francis was accepting the Regional Winner prize on behalf of Henllan Bakery. Henllan also took home the National Bakery of the Year prize. One of our former top Students Jo Dainton also took home a prize.
Court Assistant David Amos received a well-deserved lifetime achievement award.
An excellent evening, paying tribute to the wealth of talent in our industry.
