Charity has always been at the heart of Livery Companies, with the combined Livery Movement donating an incredible £75,000,000 per annum to a wide range of charities.
The Benevolent Fund of the Worshipful Company of Bakers has recently agreed a donation to City Harvest London, joining around 60 other Livery Companies in supporting this important cause.
City Harvest rescues food that is going to waste and delivers it to 375+ charities across London, feeding over 100,000 people each week.
The Livery Food Initiative has already raised enough funds to keep a truck on the road for the next three years.
