The Master & Wardens

Each year a new Master is elected to lead the Worshipful Company of Bakers. They are supported by four Wardens, from whose number future Masters will be elected, and their immediate predecessor, who serves for one year as Deputy Master.

Master: Charles Joseph

Charles became a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Bakers in 1993.
He qualified as a barrister in 1980 and has been in practice for the whole of his professional life.

He has also been engaged in various charities from time to time as trustee and board member and remains a trustee of a small family charity.

He is married to Victoria and they live in South London. They have two sons, the eldest of whom has recently become the fourth generation of the family to join the livery of the Worshipful Company of Bakers.

They also have one grandson.
