The Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch took place at the Guildhall, which was packed to bursting for several sittings.
Many of those attending seized the opportunity to head home with a delicious Bakers’ Bag, filled with all manner of freshly baked items.
Well done to our volunteers for their day of tireless salesmanship, meaning all 100 bags were sold. Bags were be available for just £30, raising crucial funds for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, and contain bread, crumpets, simnel cake, shortbread, tea, coffee, jam, hot cross buns and pate de fruits.
