On 11th September, Bakers' Hall was the proud host to City Music Foundation's first Lunchtime Recital of the new season. In what we believe is the first ever concert to be held at the Hall (certainly in recent years), the talented duo of Gus McQuade and Eleanor Grant wowed the assembled crowd with their extraordinarily moreish blend of folk and classical. A real treat.
The programme included material from the 16th Century right up to modern classics from Joni Mitchell.
We hope to see many more young musicians at the Hall in the future, and are always interested to hear from anyone who may wish to give a Concert at the Hall.
