WILLIAM MARLE
On 24th November, William Marle took office as the Master of the Company.
William became a liveryman of the Bakers in 1979 and joined the Court in 2000. He has been on various committees over the last 20+ years, most notably on the Executive Committee and as Chair of the Long-Term Planning Committee. William became Master of the Bakers’ Company in November 2025.
He is a second-generation liveryman, and his son is also in the Livery. His father was the Bakers Honorary Archivist for 25 years from the late 1980s, making it inevitable that William would be active in the Bakers’ Company.
He is joined in his year by his Consort Audrey.
